This CEJN high pressure hydraulic hose has a spiral steel reinforced, polymer construction, that picks up the requirement for a larger bore. The 2 spiral layers of high tensile steel make this an extremely safe hose. Together with the outstanding resistance to wear from the 2 additional open layers of steel wire minimising the spread of any tears in the polyurethane cover and giving stronger kink-resistance. Low volumetric expansion (8.6%) means the overall length of the hose does no vary more than +/-2% and gives fast response times in hydraulic systems. The smooth polyamide large bore (9.8mm) helps to keep pressure drops to a minimum and provide robust chemical resistance. The superior wear resistance and large bore makes this hose ideal for application requiring higher volumes of hydraulic fluid transmission in rough environments. Benchmark testing shows this hose is capable of withstanding over 200000 impulses at 70MPa and 100°C.
